The 5 Best Restaurants in Miami

Thursday, August 31, 2017

Miami is chock-full of amazing restaurants, which makes it extremely difficult to pick the five best. But, these top five are extraordinary, in terms of not just food, but also ambience and level of service. Hope you enjoy!

Bagatelle

Not only is the food amazing, but the service and atmosphere is what customers rave about after a meal at Bagatelle Miami. Many head here for a special occasion or simply to enjoy the lively music. From their Truffle Pasta with Ham to their Salt Crusted Branzino, this French cuisine never disappoints! Sunday Brunch is infamous for those who want to end the weekend with a bang! On Tuesday nights there is only one place to be in Miami and that is Bagatelle’s 80’s Rock N Baga Party! If you love good music, great food and even better service, Bagatelle is a must!

Zuma

Zuma requires no introduction to any lover of high end food. Located in downtown Miami, this modern Japanese restaurant is frequented by bankers, business executives and celebrities alike. Zuma exudes high end sophistication with its view of Miami’s luxury yachts and high rise condos but also the attractive clientele. What is equally as impressive as the view is the menu satisfying even the harshest food critic. Each dish is an exotic presentation. Almost everything on display is edible and should be eaten to enhance the flavour of each dish. While some dishes are served over fire to retain the heat, the cold dishes are served over ice to preserve freshness. The explosion of flavours in each dish sets a new precedence for how food should be done! This restaurant raises the bar to a new level and there is no doubt about why Zuma reigns supreme.

Komodo

Located in Brickell, this amazing restaurant combines Contemporary Southeast Asian Cuisine with a sophisticated ambiance of Miami’s most attractive people. As you enter Komodo, you are greeted by the impressive display of Roasted Peking Duck, one of their signature dishes. As you wrestle your way to the bar, you are kindly greeted by anyone of the mixologist who is ready and eager to serve up one of their amazing handcrafted cocktails. If the indoor bar is full, you can always head upstairs to the floating “birds nests” bar to enjoy more subtle and romantic outdoor atmosphere. Menu favorites include Tuna & Toro Roll, Wagyu Skirt Steak Tacos, Komodo Chicken Salad, Arroz con Pato and the Lobster Dynamite.

Fi’lia

James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz has done it again! His latest endeavor stretches his culinary muscles to provide us with his own twist of Italian Cuisine. His artistic approach to his culinary dishes can turn a standard Caesar salad into a dining experience Servers whip up the salad tableside, which includes grilling fresh baked bread to make the croutons. A standard bread basket becomes the conversation piece as your server cuts tiny pieces of fresh oregano from a potted plant to add to the flavored olive oil which is right for dipping. His fresh made house pasta as well as popular mains such as the Wood Grilled Chicken and Pan Roasted Snapper are what distinguish Fi’lia from Schwartz’s other restaurants. Fi’lia is just another example of why Michael Schwartz is one of Miami’s most raved about chefs.

The Capital Grille

A true American steakhouse in the heart of Miami, your food will be cooked to perfection and the service will make you wish you could eat like this every single day. With dry-aged steaks and an extensive wine list, The Capital Grille is the spot you want to take someone to impress them – whether that’s a date or a business associate. Start with the lobster bisque and then go for the filet mignon. For lunch, the Cobb salad is the perfect choice.
